Traceable AI raises $60 Million in Series B Financing; Plans to Bolster Product Development and Customer Acquisition

While all human abilities are significant in their own right, our skill in regards to coming up with solutions remains the most important one by quite some distance. You see, when you are able to conceive solutions to so many different problems, it ends up fuelling your growth like nothing else, but having said that, it’s not an easy gig in any sense. Our solutions, after a time, go stagnant, so we have to produce something new all over again, and doing so can get really tricky. Hence, to make the process a little more guided, the world would develop certain avenues along the way. Each of these avenues will touch upon a specific element in our lives, therefore giving its entire effort to fostering a more focused progression. Nevertheless, one avenue in particular will end up leaving an impact on our entire spectrum, and notably enough, it will do it without sacrificing a smidge from an efficiency standpoint. Yes, we are talking about technology. Technology’s emergence was quick to change all the dynamics, but even after achieving the stated goal, the creation’s imprint will continue to get bigger and bigger. In fact, Traceable AI’s latest funding shows that it is still very much on an upwards trend.

Traceable AI, a startup offering services designed to protect APIs from cyberattacks, has successfully secured over $60 million in Series B financing. Led by IVP, the round saw further participation coming from the likes of BIG Labs, Unusual Ventures, Tiger Global Management, and several undisclosed angel investors. According to certain reports, Traceable plans to use the newly-raised cash for accelerating product development. Beyond that, the company will also dedicate a chunk of it towards executing various customer acquisition strategies, along with a thorough recruitment drive. As you might have guessed, Traceable banks upon AI to analyze data for the purpose of learning normal behavior. This knowledge then goes on to guide the system in terms of picking up activities that deviate from the norm. Once the whole due diligence is completed, the company’s system shares the probability of an attack through a risk score. If available details are to be believed, Traceable employs over 70 different criteria to reach the stated score. Outside of the primary risk quantification, the company’s software is also well-equipped to map topologies, data flows, and unique security events such as data stores and runtime details on APIs.

“APIs often expose business logic that threat actors use to infiltrate applications and private data. Every line of code needs to be observed in order to properly secure modern cloud-native applications from next-generation attacks,” said Jyoti Bansal, CEO of Traceable AI. “Automated and unsupervised machine learning allows Traceable to go deeper and complete the API security requirement better than anyone. As its name suggests, Traceable traces end-to-end application activity from the user and session all the way through the application code.”
