Step into the New-Age Entertainment Industry

The human arsenal is well-known for being expansive in its nature, but if we are being honest, it doesn’t have anything more valuable than our tendency of growing on a consistent basis. This tendency, in particular, has allowed us to hit upon some huge milestones, with technology appearing as a unique member of the stated squad. The reason why technology’s credentials are so anomalous is largely predicated upon its skill-set, which ushered us towards all the possibilities that we had never imagined before. However, a closer look would reveal that the stated runner was also very much inspired by the way we applied those skills across a real-world setting. The latter component was, in fact, what gave the creation a spectrum-wide presence, and consequentially, kickstarted a tech revolution. This revolution, as we discovered later, will scale up the human experience from every conceivable direction, but even after achieving such a monumental feat, technology will somehow continue to produce all the right goods. The same has only turned more and more evident over the recent past, and to be fair with you, the latest call from Warner Bros. should do a lot to keep that trend alive and kicking.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has officially partnered with blockchain pioneer Eluvio, to launch “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring” extended version web3 movie experience. In simple words, the company will release the movie as a set of limited edition NFTs. According to certain reports, the plan is to release the movie in two different versions i.e. Epic Edition and Mystery Edition. Both the versions will notably allow you to watch the extended version of the film in 4K UHD, access more than 8 hours of special features, view image galleries, discover hidden AR collectibles, and explore themed navigation menus based on iconic locations from the beloved film, while also letting you own trade your experience in a community marketplace. As for what sets these editions apart, the mystery one, which is priced at $30, includes a surprise interactive location-based navigation menu from one of three film locations in The Shire, Rivendell, and Mines of Moria. The Epic edition, on the other hand, bears a bit more expensive price tag of $100, but it includes all three location-based navigation menus, along with bonus image galleries that are not available in the Mystery edition package.

Talk about how you can be a part of this new-age setup, the official press release states that  “to participate in this novel experience, fans create a secure, easy-to-use media wallet that acts as a digital vault and enables consumers to stream and purchase content via credit cards or crypto wallets.”

Interestingly enough, Lord of the Rings is just the first product in Warner Bros. newly-launched WB Movieverse. Deemed as the “multimedia living movie experience,” the stated division is expected to give entertainment industry an outright unprecedented edge, and to get there sooner rather than later, Warner Bros. and Eluvio are working to launch two more NFT experiences soon.

“Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is setting a new bar for innovation in the distribution of home movies by demonstrating the potential of web3 for consumer engagement, digital supply chain transformation, and new business opportunities,” said Michelle Munson, CEO and co-founder of Eluvio.
