Enabling GenAI to Connect Your Organization with Next-Generation Possibilities

Automation Anywhere, the leader in AI-powered automation, has officially announced an expansion of its partnership with Google Cloud to leverage the power of latter’s generative AI capabilities and its own generative AI automation model to give companies a powerful solution for optimizing and transforming their business. Under the agreed terms, Automation Anywhere will bank upon Google Cloud’s Gemini models and Vertex AI platform to launch customizable new generative-AI powered solutions. This should help Automation Anywhere’s platform in integrating different types of information from text, code, and audio to image and video. As for how such a setup benefits the end user, it empowers them to apply natural language and request automations across systems, generate personalized content, summarize dense documents, and automate workflows without ever leaving their preferred application. Talk about possible use cases in play here, we begin from the one it has around the underwriting process. You see, if we refer to the commercial lending and insurance space, generative AI can prove to be useful here for reviewing, summarizing, and submitting necessary information, thus accelerating the underwriting process by a significant margin.

Our next use case is rooted in the technology’s aim of simplifying patient communications. Here, we can basically enlist generative AI to conceive after-visit summaries in audio format, something it can markedly do so in the patient’s native language. This, like one might guess, can tread a long distance to help doctors and clinicians in how they relay vital healthcare information to their patients and ensure a better understanding of their care journey.

“Partnering with Google Cloud gave us access to an ecosystem of best-in-class machine learning models, like MedLM for example, a pre-built solution that eases the burden on doctors and healthcare professionals by automating after-visit summaries, reducing manual work and burnout,” said Adi Kuruganti, Chief Product Officer at Automation Anywhere. “This is just one powerful example of how our joint out-of-the-box industry-specific solutions empower people to do their very best work supported by generative AI-powered automation in a safe, responsible AI-based solution.”

Moving on, the partnership in question also births substantial potential in relation to data extraction. In simple terms, the combined technological brainchild of Automation Anywhere and Google Cloud will come prepared for us to automatically extract text and images, review the output, provide product support, and authorize returns. An example of the same would be the pharmaceutical industry where generative AI can validate package image data including size, colors, logo, usage instructions, expiration dates, and more to ensure quality standards. Rounding up highlights is a financial industry-themed use case. By that, we are referring to the solution’s knowhow in regards to improving institutions’ efficiency and effectiveness against money laundering attempts. In practice, this involves strengthening their compliance programs, integrating the results of Google Cloud’s AML AI product into the investigation workflow, and generating suspicious activity reports.

Making the entire development all the important is Automation Anywhere’s track record so far, a track record which has seen the company reduce manual workloads by up to 40 percent, and at the same time, provide nine times the return on investment for automation programs.

“We’re pleased to partner with Automation Anywhere to bring new generative AI capabilities to customers,” said Ritika Suri, Director of Technology Partnerships at Google Cloud. “With Gemini models, Automation Anywhere can enhance experiences across industries, enabling organizations to streamline and simplify many time-consuming tasks.”
