Giving Your Experience a New Meaning

It might not be that much apparent, but technology’s hold on our lives came with a ton of grind. Even though its potential was well-known to be insane, the creation still had to go through every necessary step for reaching the heights it did. First step of this journey was, of course, reinventing the habits. It’s far from easy to get human beings to change their longstanding habits, so when technology emerged as successful in this pursuit, the number of doubters it was dealing with nosedived significantly. The next step was proving it accessibility. One of the biggest reasons why technology is widely adored and respected has to be because of how open it is for people from all walks of life. Such has been its impact in this regard that the world is no long viewed as scattered and far apart. Instead, we now see it as a closely-knit community that has a meaningful role for everyone. This really set us off in a direction, which we are still following here and now, and the ride is only getting better with every roll of the wheel. A new testimony for the said feeling arrives straight from Google’s camp.

As confirmed in company’s latest announcement, Google is redesigning its search engine, with a focus on enhancing user retention across Google properties. During the annual Search On event, the tech giant started its slew of big revelations by introducing all-new AI technology called Multitask Unified Model, which will be replacing BERT as the primary facilitator of Google Search. The new model is said to be 1,000 times stronger than the previous one in terms of accurately pulling text, images, and videos and presenting the user with results that are more specific and informative. While this is certainly an attempt to make user experience more refined, Google wants to achieve it in conjunction with a different goal.

As the company gets bigger by the day, Google is now forking out more money than ever before to pay partner content sites. As per the figures provided by Google of its recent quarter performance, the company has spent over $1 billion for traffic, and costs so astronomical are not sustainable even for a cash cow like Google. Hence, as one of the ways to improve financial feasibility, the company will be bringing Google Lens to its chrome internet browser. This will remove any need for you to a leave a website because your search results will appear right alongside it. Apart from that, Google is also looking at creating an end-to-end experience in a variety of ways by hooking you up with an option to access every relevant piece of information that might be connected to what you are searching for, thus taking its utility to a whole new level.
