Userpilot Raises $4.6 Million in Seed Financing; Plans to Build Out New Features an Efficient Customer Support Operation

It’s unfair to compare all the human capabilities, but if there is still one that stands a cut above the rest, it’s our ability to grow on a consistent basis. This tendency, in particular, has allowed us to hit upon some huge milestones, with technology appearing as a major part of the stated group. The reason why technology deserves so much traction in these discussions is largely predicated upon its unprecedented skill-set, which gave us all the offerings that we could have never imagined otherwise. However, apart from it, the whole runner was also hugely inspired by the way we used those skills. The latter component, in fact, did a lot to instigate one full-fledged tech revolution. Now, while this revolution would go on to aid our cause in every conceivable regard, it will somehow continue bringing more and more to the table. The same pattern has grown increasingly evident over the recent past, and looking at a new raise, it should only hope to get even stronger moving forward.

Userpilot, a product-led growth platform for SaaS companies, has successfully secured over $4.6 million in seed financing. Led by Silicon Badia, the round saw further participation coming from the likes of ScOp Ventures and 500 Global. According to certain reports, the company will use the newly-raised cash to expand its proprietary platform through some fresh features. While the granular translation of these features remains undisclosed, what we do know is that they will focus on reducing the costs associated with customer support and engineering operations. Having started out in 2018, Userpilot has made a name for itself by helping companies in achieving higher user activation, engagement, and retention rates. Talk about how it manages to do so in such a competitive environment, the company allows you to personalize in-app onboarding experiences for each of your users, thus introducing a personal touch that is very well known to bolster customer loyalty.

“With Userpilot companies segment users based on their attributes and behavior. This allows product teams to contextually target users when it makes the most sense to do so,” said Yazan Sehwail, CEO and co-founder of Userpilot.

At the moment, Userpilot has more than a whopping 700 paying customers. The list also includes various big names such as UiPath, Oracle, McGraw Hill, Phocas, and many more. Interestingly, some of these clients have experienced upto 83% reduction in support tickets after implementing Userpilot’s onboarding tools, a figure that remains largely unmatched throughout the industry.

“At Silicon Badia, we have always been big believers in the product-led growth (PLG) movement where the product itself drives user acquisition, expansion, conversion, and retention. Having invested in earlier PLG success stories like Amplitude (NASDAQ: AMPL), we believe that Userpilot is ushering in the next generation of PLG tools,” said Namek Zu’bi, founding managing partner at Silicon Badia.
